It is not a perfect match to your chapters in your Cisco website but it will be a great resource in our overall training. This will provide primarily lectures for your training in hardware.

Lab

Install Tera Terminal Pro ( a shareware terminal emulation program) on your workstation. It is much faster than HyperTerminal preloaded on Microsoft Win9.x/NT/2000.

You will be using your PC's serial port often in semester 2 to connect to the routers console port. Once Tera Terminal is installed you need to configure it to use your serial 1 port and the following settings:

9600 baud, 8 data bits, 1 stop bit, no parity, no flow control
